ANDREW SHAPIRO, one of New York's finest young composers performs solo piano music from his new album Numbers, Colors and People.

Enchanting and listenable, the music is a blend of popular and classical styles and can be appreciated at many different levels; as complicated, interesting or chill as a listener will want it to be.

Numbers, Colors and People is produced by Michael Riesman, longtime producer and music director for Philip Glass. Released in March 2009, Shapiro performed two concerts on the prestigous "Wordless Music" series at Le Poisson Rouge, the premiere venue for cutting edge music in New York.

Shapiro makes his debut performance at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, D.C.) in January 2010. He has performed all over the United States and Europe and is aiming to bring his new material to audiences worldwide.
