The Brooklyn-based composer Andrew Shapiro has announced his 11th studio release entitled “Soft-Shapes.”
Arriving October 17th via Airbox Music, it features Shapiro at the piano creating a landscape of intelligently soothing emo, ambient, classical and minimalist sensibilities.
About this new project Shapiro says: “After having a child I’m putting a toe back in the water. It’s my first album in nine years…and I happen to have a nine year old son at home….there’s certainly a coincidence there!”
